I used to spend a small fortune on cleaners. The sunday paper had coupons and I used them all. Then i did a little research and decided I could make my own and know exactly what I am bring into my home. This is my basic cleaner. It works just as well as any other all purpose cleaner.

All purpose cleaner

1 spray bottle

Rubbing alcohol

A few drops of essential oil of your choice

Dawn dishwashing detergent (or the detergent of your choice)

Fill half the bottle with alcohol and fill with water. Add a splash of detergent and the essential oil.

Your done.

You can substitute vinegar for the alcohol if you prefer but there is debate out there on the ability of the vinegar to actually kill germs. The alcohol is much more effective. Also, if you ahve a natural stone counter top, the vinegar will wear off the sealant.
